Venue
The lectures will be held at VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, a polytechnic university in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic with a long history of high-quality engineering education and research.

Accommodation
For Summer School participants, Hotel GARNI (inside the university campus, approx. 15 min. walk distance from the conference venue) offers accommodation at the following rates:
- Single room Delux - 30 Eur /person/night;
- Twin or double room Delux (occupied by 2 persons) - 27 Eur /person/night;
- An accommodation city tax 1 Eur /person/night is charged.

- Breakfast is included in the accommodation price.
- Lunch and dinner can be ordered at place or in close restaurants, not far from the conference venue.
Alternatively, we suggest a Hotel Zabreh Chateau which is located 20min by tram from the conference Venue plus 5-10 min. walking distance. The price for a single room is approx. 70 Eur/person/night. In case you choose this option, please let us know to suggest public transport as well as booking the hotel.
Travel
By plane:
- the Ostrava Airport (1 hour public transfer connection to the Venue),
- the International Krakow Airport (170 km; less than 2 hours by car),
- the International Prague Airport (approx. 4-5 hours train connection),
- the International Vienna airport (approx. 4-5 hours train connection).
Organizers will provide car transport from the Krakow airport to the conference venue and back.

By train and public transport:
From the Ostrava-Svinov train station (reachable by trains from the above airports) to the conference venue, use a taxi (in front of the train station), or a close tram connection No. 7. or 8. from the tram station Svinov-Mosty to the station "Trebovicka" and change for bus "NAD" to the station "VSB-TUO" (approx. 10 min.)
